The North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics Teaching & Learning Department will host its first fall mini-conference on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, on the NCSSM Morganton campus. This one-day professional learning experience will bring together middle school and high school educators for a focused and collaborative event.
Centered on the theme, Teaching in the Times of Transformation, the conference highlights innovative strategies, emerging challenges, and practical tools that support teaching and learning in a rapidly changing world. Through interactive sessions, participants will engage in meaningful collaboration, exchange ideas, and strengthen their impact in classrooms and communities.
Held in the newly renovated Joiner Building, the mini-conference is intentionally designed as a small, high-engagement experience that fosters connection and networking. The program will include a keynote speaker aligned with the conference theme, as well as a three-part breakout session series with multiple session options. Lunch will be provided.
This exclusive event is limited to the first 50 educators who register.
